In the app: tap your name in the lobby → Profile → Delete account → Delete everything. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
1. Deleting from inside the app
- Open Budapest Rummy.
- In the lobby, tap your name or your picture to open the Profile room.
- In the Account band, tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation and tap Delete everything. If you signed in with Apple, Apple asks you to confirm once more, so that the game is also removed from your Apple ID.
You are signed out straight away, and the account no longer exists. This works the same way for a guest account and for one signed in with Google or Apple.
2. If you cannot open the app
Write to support@budapestrummy.com from the e-mail address you signed in with, asking for your account to be deleted. We use that address only to find the account and confirm the deletion, and we delete the request itself once it is done. Expect it to be handled within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
- your sign-in account, including the Google or Apple identity linked to it;
- your profile: nickname, avatar and e-mail address;
- your coin balance, level, missions and daily bonuses;
- your statistics and your ranked-ladder record;
- your friends list, your friend code, and the friend requests and table invitations you sent or received;
- your mailbox;
- your online status and the time you were last online;
- everything the app saved on your device, when you delete from inside the app.
4. What is kept, and why
Finished matches and past season standings are kept as game records, because a match belongs to everyone who played it and deleting one would erase the other players' history too. Your nickname and avatar are removed from them: what remains is the table's scores and placements against an account identifier that is no longer connected to your name, your avatar or your e-mail address.
Feedback you sent keeps its text, type, date, app version, operating system and language, so the problem you reported can still be fixed. Your nickname and account identifier are removed from it. If the text itself says who you are, write to support and we will delete the report.
We keep no backups of deleted accounts.
